The Audi Sport Quattro is an all-new model likely to become the brand's next flagship vehicle.
The car will go head-to-head with the larger BMW M4, Cadillac CTS-V and Jaguar F-Type.
Based
on what we know about the Sport Quattro Concept (pictured), the car
will be a plug-in hybrid and pack the latest technology featured in the
brand's motorsports offerings.
In terms of horsepower, the new Sport Quattro is rumored to feature
some impressive numbers. Under the hood, a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 will
reportedly produce up to 560 hp and be coupled to a 140 hp electric
motor. The car will likely come with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The
car is expected to be built in Germany in limited numbers with a
starting price of approximately $150,000. Stay tuned for the latest
release info.
