Overview
The Lexus GS 450h gets minor updates for the 2016 model year.
While the GS lineup is getting interesting this year with a new turbo model called the GS 200t,
the hybrid variant will receive no major changes. The car will continue
to be powered by an Atkinson cycle 3.5L V6 engine and electric motor
producing a combined 338 hp. The CVT transmission carries over unchanged
as well.
Notable changes for 2016 include new
18-inch 5-spoke wheels with machined finish and blind spot monitor with
rear cross-traffic alert. A revised full-screen navigation system with
12.3-inch high resolution screen will dominate the center stack. The
car's interior will continue to impress, with new "laser cut wood trim"
and a new interior color dubbed "Chateau."
Expect further details to become available closer to launch.
